Metamorphtree Characteristics.

Dear potential investors,

We are thrilled to introduce you to MetamorphTree, a pioneering initiative focused on the sustainable cultivation and utilization of Kiri trees. The Kiri tree, renowned for its rapid growth and versatile applications, presents a compelling investment opportunity with far-reaching environmental and economic benefits.

The Kiri tree is widely considered to be the fastest-growing tree. In just one year, the tree can grow over 5 metres in height.

Kiri is known as the “aluminum” of wood, and the “Lightweight Champion”. Its honeycomb cell structure gives the wood its uniquely high relative strength. Combined with its exclusive grain pattern, Kiri is the in-demand modern material for furniture manufacture, natural interior design and sustainable building.

Kiri wood can substitute tropical timber. With our plantations located outside the forests, we help to sustainably reduce the pressure on the world’s woodland resources, and in particular protect natural rainforest areas from over-exploitation, illegal deforestation and destruction. Canada offers a great area to grow our Kiri trees.

In China alone, over 4 million cubic metres of Kiri wood are processed annually into furniture, awnings, blinds, doors, musical instruments, sports equipment, wood-based materials, veneers and many other products.

Kiri plantations contributes to the long-term enrichment of nutrients and the ecological health of the agricultural land.

Our Kiri trees have a deep root system. The roots, which grow up to 5 metres deep, can tap nutrients from lower soil layers. With the autumn leaf-fall, these nutrients reach the soil surface and are quickly transformed into valuable humus.  Kiri trees flowers attracts bees and it produces a great honey.

Kiri trees are able to absorb up to 40 tons of CO2 per hectare annually. Since we produce our wood for high-quality use in the furniture and the wood-based materials industry, the CO2 captured on our plantations remains permanently locked in over the very long lifespan of these products.

Our Partner in Germany, Wegrow, is the developer of their own protected Kiri tree variety, NordMax21®, for commercial cultivation.

Carbon Credits

In Canada, the carbon credits system operates within a framework designed to incentivize and reward organizations for reducing their gas emissions. Under this system, companies that successfully decrease their carbon footprint can earn carbon credits, which represent the equivalent of one ton of carbon dioxide or its equivalent in other greenhouse gases.

These carbon credits can then be traded on the carbon market, providing a valuable opportunity for companies to offset their emissions by purchasing credits from those who have exceeded their reduction targets. Additionally, carbon credits can be used as a financial incentive for sustainable practices and investments in emission reduction projects.
